The two day course will equip the delegate with an understanding of WebSphere MQ Clustering, how to cope with distributed queuing, setting up of a simple cluster, managing clusters, workload balancing and the application considerations required for clustering. The course will also provide an overview of more complex clustering set-ups, security considerations and the removal of clustering objects.
The class is intended for experienced WebSphere MQ Administrators.
The course has extensive practical exercises that reinforce the lecture sessions.
Hints, tips and “gotchas” will be discussed and every effort will be made to help the delegate come to an understanding of the techniques required to set-up a successful WebSphere MQ cluster.
